“Calm” Fashion Valley Robbery Caught on Video

The robbery happened right in front of customers at Fashion Valley Mall

Surveillance video taken inside a jewelry store in the Fashion Valley Mall shows an armed man calmly walking in, quietly demanding a bag of Rolex watches and then calmly walking out of the store.

The robbery was so low-key even the other customers weren’t aware it was taking place officers said.

On Sunday, just after 1:00 p.m., the suspect approached an employee inside the Royal Maui Jewelers and asked to see some Rolex watches.

After the employee asked to see some identification, the man left the store saying he needed to get it from his vehicle.

Then, he returned soon after and approached a different employee.

The suspect showed a black semi-automatic gun, handed the clerk an empty plastic bag and told her to put all the Rolex watches in the bag.

The employee complied.

He then walked out of the store with the bag police said.

The suspect was described as African-American, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’6” and 150 pounds. He was wearing a long-sleeved white dress shirt outside his black pants and black and white athletic shoes. He was also said to be unshaven and wearing large framed prescription glasses.
