A 25-year-old man was found dead inside his Mission Valley apartment Sunday morning, police confirmed.
SDPD officers were called to an apartment in the 700 block of Camino de la Reina at around 6:20 a.m. after a man reported finding his roommate dead inside their apartment.
Responding officers and medics discovered blood inside the residence and confirmed the man’s death.
Investigators say the victim appears to have been fatally stabbed. Homicide detectives are handling the case, processing the scene and checking for witnesses.
The official cause of the man’s death has not yet been determined, authorities said. The victim’s name has not been released.
According to police, the roommate that reported the death told officers he had found the victim dead inside their apartment when he woke up Sunday morning.
