A crash involving at least three cars prompted traffic delays on northbound Interstate 15 in Carmel Mountain Thursday.
The multi-vehicle crash happened in the middle or rush hour -- around 5:20 p.m. – on the I-15 at Carmel Mountain Road, CHP officials said.
At least one of the vehicles rolled over on the roadway, blocking several lanes.
At this point, the number of people or patients involved in the crash, and the extent of their injuries, is unknown.
A SigAlert was issued following the crash, and only two lanes remained open on the freeway as officials investigated the scene.
