A Toyota 4Runner overturned on the southbound side of highway 163 this morning ejecting one man from his SUV. Witnesses stopped and gave first aid to the victim, according to CHP.
It happened just before 7 a.m. at Kearny Villa Road, blocking lanes and backing up traffic. A sig alert was issued at 7:05 a.m. The Toyota and another car were trying to merge and the Toyota ended up over-correcting and landed on its side, according to CHP.
The man who was ejected was taken to Sharp Memorial with unknown injuries, according to San Diego Fire.
