The so-called "Roblar Fire" is not threatening any structures.

A brush fire burning on Camp Pendleton, dubbed the Roblar Fire, has scorched 1,245 acres and is 92 percent contained, Cal Fire officials reported Monday morning.

The Roblar Fire broke out Thursday afternoon just before 4 p.m. and quickly grew to over 1,000 acres in less than 24 hours.

The fire is located at the northern end of base near Roblar Road and Case Springs. Authorities say it is not threatening any homes or structures.

According to some NBC 7 viewers, the smoke from the fire was visible from the Carlsbad area.
