The Raza Car Club sponsored a fundraiser at the Chula Vista Marina Saturday to raise money for the victims of the October 16 deadly crash in Chicano Park.
The event supported the families of the four people who died: Cruz Elias Contreras, 52, and AnnaMarie Contreras, 50, a married couple from Arizona, and Andre Christopher Banks, 49, and Francine Denise Jimenez, 46, a couple from Hacienda Heights near LA.
The victims were celebrating the La Raza Ride, a motorcycle festival at Chicano Park, when 24-year-old Richard Anthony Sepolio drove his pickup truck off the Coronado Bridge into Chicano Park, landing on the victims.
Sepolio survived and was later charged with vehicular manslaughter and DUI.
