Robbery Suspects Nabbed After Chase, Crash

The suspect in an armed robbery at a storage facility led San Diego police on a chase through San Diego that finally ended when he crashed into a parked car Thursday.

San Diego police were called to the storage company in the 9800- block of Pacific Heights Boulevard in Sorrento Valley where a witness gave the officers a description of the suspects and their car.

Another police officer spotted the suspect's vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 805 and tried to pull the vehicle over.

When the suspects failed to stop, officers said they began a pursuit.

The pursuit lasted 5 miles with speeds getting up to 90 miles per hour.

Then suddenly, the robbery suspects crashed the car into another parked car at 41st and C Streets in Mount Hope.

No one was injured in the crash.

Both suspects were taken into custody officials said.

Officers say they found money and loaded guns inside the vehicle.
