Are you paying too much in property taxes? Today is the last day for property owners to appeal their 2008-2009 property tax assessments.
Applications must be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Office in the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, Room 402, San Diego, 92101, no later than 5 p.m. on Dec. 1 -- or be postmarked no later than midnight on that date.
Forms can be found online at sdcounty.ca.gov or picked up at the County Administration Center.
The application requires taxpayers to know their parcel or tax bill number and the estimated market value of the property. For more information, call 619-531-5777.
