A 4-S Ranch woman finally fulfilled her childhood dream on Thursday of becoming a contestant on the game show "Wheel of Fortune."
Three times in the past 16 years, May Pidding tried to join Pat and Vanna onstage, but it was the fourth time that was the charm. Pidding called it a "chance of a lifetime." The stay-at-home mother and part-time scientist said she entered her name in a contest drawing last September at Valley View Casino and was randomly picked from hundreds of names.
Pidding spun the wheel on Thursday night, and fortune smiled on her: She won $7,150.
