Police Search for Upskirt Photo Suspect

Police are searching for a suspect caught on surveillance camera taking photos up a woman's skirt.

The incident last Wednesday occurred at about 3:30 p.m. in a Kearny Mesa variety store, authorities with the San Diego Police Department said.

A woman shopping at the store felt something brush up against her leg. When she turned around, she saw the suspect kneeling down with a cell phone camera aimed up her dress.

When the woman confronted the man he ran away, and the female tried to catch him. He fled the store on foot.

Part of the incident was caught on surveillance camera, police said.

The suspect is described as a man anywhere between the ages of 25 through 35, about 5'8'' and with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he had dark hair, slicked back and was clean shaven.
