Police Looking For Rapist On Local Campus

Police at University of California San Diego are looking for a man who raped a woman in a parking lot earlier this month. 

A university bulletin was released after the female victim came forward to police on Thursday.

The sexual assault allegedly happened in Parking Lot 102 on February 3rd.  Police have not said why the woman waited more than two weeks to come forward. 

"A female reported to police that she was pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted in parking lot 102 by an Asian Male" said UCSD Police Chief Orville King in a campus notice. 

The suspect fled on foot toward North Torrey Pines Road according to police.  The suspect description is vague:  Adult Asian Male, between 5 feet 9 inches - 6 feet 1 inches in height and between 18 and 22 years old.
