Police Arrest Bonsall Man For Stabbing, Terrorist Threats

Police arrested a man in Bonsall for assault with a deadly weapon and making terrorist threats after he tried to stab his roommate Sunday morning.

Joseph Russell Colihan, 55, attacked his roommate with a knife at 10:18 am on the 29000 block of Margale Lane, north of San Diego.

Colihan briefly fled after his roommate disarmed him, only to return minutes later, breaking a window to try to get back inside.

Sheriffโ€™s Deputies from the Bonsall Substation arrested Colihan on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of terrorist threats.

Colihanโ€™s roommate suffered a shallow cut on his neck and refused medical treatment.

After being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, deputies booked him into the Vista Detention facility.
