San Diego lifeguards are trying to rescue a paraglider halfway down the cliffs at Torrey Pines.
Lifeguards said the paraglider was forced to land halfway down the cliff, prompting the call for rescuers. Original reports to lifeguards stated that a person was hurt when the cliff collapsed on Tuesday afternoon near the Gliderport in Torrey Pines. It's not yet known if the paraglider was injured.
Officials said they are now working to bring the stranded paraglider up the cliff.
