Deputies were responding to reports of a possible stabbing in the unincorporated area of El Cajon, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department (SDSO) confirmed.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. on the 1100 block of Greefield Drive.
Deputies responded to reports of a stabbing and arrived to find a victim who required medical attention. SDSO said the injuries appeared to not be serious.
At this point, it is unconfirmed if the victim was stabbed.
Deputies were on scene, speaking to witness and gathering evidence.
