Man Pushed Off Balcony in PB Robbery

A man was pushed off a balcony at a Pacific Beach apartment during a marijuana deal gone wrong, police said.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. at an apartment in the 2100 block of Garnet Avenue.

Police said two men in their early 20s were doing a business transaction involving marijuana with two other men at the PB residence when an argument ensued.

One suspect pulled out a gun and robbed the two men of some pot. Police said the suspects then attempted to tie the men’s hands with zip-ties and duct tape, and a physical fight began.

Two additional suspects entered the apartment and the fight moved to the balcony. Police said that’s when one of the victim’s was pushed off the balcony, landing below in the complex courtyard.

The suspects, described by police only as four Hispanic males, fled the scene in a white Toyota. The man who fell from the balcony suffered minor injuries, including abrasions and a small bump on his head.

The other victim was not injured.

Police said the suspects may have headed in toward Harding Avenue. The altercation remains under investigation.
