San Diego police are investigating an attack on a woman walking in Ocean Beach Wednesday.
Officers said a man came up behind the woman on Ocean Front Street just before 9 a.m. and hit her in the head. Then he told the woman to be quiet while he groped her breast officials said.
The woman told police the man claimed he wouldn’t hurt her. He then ran from the scene.
Officers are looking for a man described as white, 5’5”, muscular build, wearing plaid shorts with a green and white basketball jersey.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital. Police did not provide details on her injuries.
