New H&M, TOPSHOP Stores Coming to San Diego

Popular European fashion is coming to the county

Fans of European fashion should get their wallets ready as new TOPSHOP and H&M stores come to the county.

British retailer TOPSHOP – and its “brother store” TOPMAN – is opening its first San Diego spot in Fashion Valley this fall.

And you can bet its 17,500-square-foot location on the mall’s lower level, near JCPenney, will offer more than tops.

Anglo-fashionphiles can find outfits for going out, shoes, accessories, denim and make-up at the new TOPSHOP, one of four new locations opening in the U.S. by 2015. The British vendor already has more than 440 stores in 37 countries.

Also coming this fall is a new H&M for the East County. The retailer, based in Sweden, will open its seventh San Diego County location at Parkway Plaza in El Cajon.

The store, which offers collections for women and men, will be in a new 20,000-square–foot spot, helping the retailer expand in its largest U.S. market: California. Starting in New York 14 years ago, owners have opened 331 locations across the country.

H&M announced in May it will open another spot in San Ysidro soon. Its existing locations are in Fashion Valley, Westfield Plaza Bonita, Otay Ranch Town Center, Westfield North County and the Forum Carlsbad.
