The VA clinic in Chula Vista has completed its move, opening a new building two doors down from its old location on 3rd Avenue.
The new clinic, at 865 3rd Avenue, will have a 10,000 square foot clinic featuring 13 primary care rooms, three optometry rooms, two audiology rooms and five mental health consult rooms. There will also be counseling rooms for social work and nutrition.
"We are very happy to be able to continue providing services for Veterans in South Bay in a convenient location," said VA San Diego Healthcare System Director, Jeffrey Gering, in a statement.
The new building is two blocks south of their old building, which closed on Dec. 15.
All of their current services will continue to be offered, including primary care, mental health, enrollment counseling, social work, podiatry, audiology hearing aid services, nutrition counseling, patient education, telehealth, laboratory and chronic disease management.
