New Campus for Life Sciences Companies to Be Built in UTC

A new campus offering labs and office space for biomedical and life sciences companies is planned for University Town Center.

A ceremonial groundbreaking was held Thursday for i3, BioMed Realty Trust’s newest project to be build at 4775 Executive Drive.

The new 316,000 square-foot campus will be built to meet LEED Platinum certification requirements.

There are three 100,000 square-foot buildings with adaptable lab zones, developers say.

Tenants will also have access to an outdoor auditorium and open courtyard.
