Motorcyclist Injured in I-15 Crash

A man hospitalized with serious injuries may be paralyzed after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 15 Monday.

The accident occurred as the drivers were going northbound in I-15 near the Pomerado Road exit in Rancho Bernardo.

According to witnesses, two men were riding their motorcycle at high rates of speed, swerving in and out of traffic.

One witness said he was driving at a normal speed when the motorcyclists sped past him.

Then, one motorcycle rider lost control and crashed into a Jeep. A witness said he saw sparks. From there, a handful of cars crashed.

Witnesses said the injured motorcyclist described having no feeling below his neck. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
