Residents Displaced After Mobile Home Fire

Flames engulfed a mobile home in Harbison Canyon Sunday morning

Residents of an unincorporated El Cajon community were displaced following a fire that destroyed their mobile home early Sunday morning.

According to Cal Fire officials, the fire engulfed a mobile home in the 700 block of Rosalie Way in Harbison Canyon at around 1:15 a.m. It also spread to a patch of brush nearby.

Cal Fire Capt. Mike Mohler said crews were able to control the blaze within 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

Mohler said the mobile home was completely destroyed, leaving the residents displaced.
