Ten people were arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol during a checkpoint in Mission Bay Friday night.
San Diego police held the checkpoint in the 4200 block of Mission Bay Drive between 11 p.m. and 3:02 a.m.
Just over 1400 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, and 1000 of those vehicles were screened.
Ten motorists were arrested for a DUI and eleven vehicle impounds were made, according to SDPD.
