Tickets go on sale Monday for the Miramar Air Show, taking place the first weekend of October.
Even without the Blue Angels, Marines will open base gates to the public in October for the 2013 MCAS Miramar Air Show.
On July 12, the Department of Defense announced military flight demonstrations would not be part of the annual tradition in San Diego citing budget cuts.
San Diegans will see aerial performances from the Patriots Jet Team and displays of the F-35-B Joint Strike Fighter and dozens of other military aircraft.
The event will take place Oct. 4 - 5, 2013.
