Mayor Sanders Pays Visit to White House

San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders made a special trip to Washington D.C. Monday to meet with several national advisors.

The mayor was invited, along with five other big city mayors, by the U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood to discuss the new stimulus and transportation issues.

Along with meeting with Secretary LaHood, Mayor Sanders is also set to meet with Special Assistant to the President of Urban Affairs Derek Douglas, White House Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs Deputy Directors David Agnew and Sean McGrath, and the Department of Homeland Security.
