Man Hospitalized After Boating Accident in Mission Bay

A man was taken to the hospital after the boat he was in rolled over in Mission Bay, Sunday morning.

“The driver experienced what was called a ‘blow over’ in boating terns,” said Mansfield.

The driver was said to have a minor concussion after an initial diagnosis, at which point he was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital.

Another crash was reported sometime later during the Bayfair hydroplane races, according to San Diego lifeguards.
