Man Attempts to Grab Woman in Public Bathroom: Police

San Diego police are searching for a man accused of grabbing a 20-year-old woman inside a public bathroom in Logan Heights and trying to force her into a stall.

Officials say the incident happened Tuesday around 9:30 p.m. near 2929 Marcy Avenue after the victim had entered the women’s bathroom in Memorial Park.

When she exited the stall, police say she was approached inside the bathroom by an unknown man who then grabbed her and tried to push her into a stall.

The young woman managed to break free from the man’s grip and ran away from the bathroom. She was not injured.

Meanwhile, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-4 and 140-pounds, with a thin build. He was unshaven and wearing a brown, long-sleeved shirt and jeans at the time of the alleged attack.
