A man in his 20s who climbed onto a Jack in the Box Roof on San Ysidro Boulevard and was throwing objects at people was taken into custody peacefully, San Diego police said.
Police evacuated the area around the fast food restaurant during the hour-long standoff, which was over by 2 p.m.
It's unclear what charges the man may face.
