A Marine is under arrest after he shot a bullet through his wife’s picture.
James Green, 23, shot a photo of his wife in his backyard Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Green's wife left for her parents' house in Temecula while a neighbor and fellow Marine came over and took away Green's pistol, Sgt. Rob Smith told our media partners the North County Times.
Green later followed his wife to Temecula, where authorities responded to a disturbance and detained Green, who was making suicidal statements, the sergeant told the paper.
He’s now booked into the Vista jail on suspicion of illegal discharge of a firearm police said.
