Magnitude 4.0 Baja California Earthquake Felt in San Diego

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake in Baja California was felt across Tijuana, parts of San Diego County and the Imperial County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey’s “Did You Feel it?” website Sunday.

People reported feeling the quake in Jamul, Spring Valley, Descanso and Poway as well as San Diego.

The early morning earthquake was reported just before 7 a.m. about 45 miles east of Ensenada.
