Magnitude-3.5 Quake Hits Baja California

PASADENA, Calif. -- An earthquake struck Baja California on Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey report.

The quake hit at 8:24 a.m. with a magnitude of 3.5 and a depth of 15.7 miles.

The epicenter was located at 32 degrees and 17.8 minutes north latitude and 115 degrees and 18 minutes west longitude, according to the USGS.

The quake was about 29 miles south-southeast of Calexico, Calif., and 102 miles east of Tijuana, according to the USGS.
