The search is on for San Diego's next generation of warriors.
Top community leaders met at the San Diego Hall of Champions last week to take on a new role for the U.S. Army.
The nation's military has been stretched thin with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They're trying to attract more recruits, because fewer people are meeting the minimum requirements for service.
City leaders were asked to form a community advisory board to assist San Diego recruiters with planning events and outreach activities.
They hope to spread the word about opportunities that are available when you sign up for the career in the Army.
