A local man who lost two brothers to drugs, now teaches others to say no. Jon Sundt doesn't want what happened to him to happen to others.
"I realized that they might have steered clear of drugs had they seen and heard how drugs would affect their lives and how the devastating effects of drugs would end their lives," said Sundt, who founded the Sundt Memorial Foundation.
On Oct 18, the foundation will hosts its seventh annual Caribbean Jam gala at Scripps Aquarium in La Jolla. The money from the fundraiser will help pay to distribute a drug-prevention video series called Natural High to schools across the country.
Last year, the foundation raised $150,000 to support the effort, according to Sundt.
