Two lanes are closed on southbound Interstate 5 after two or three vehicles were involved in a crash north of Civic Center Drive, California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. The drivers may have been drag racing, CHP said.
One of the vehicles caught fire, and at least one of the vehicles left the scene.
No other information was immediately available.
