San Diego had a couple an important visitors on Friday: Vice President Joe Biden and Second Lady Jill Biden
The second-in-command visited with Camp Pendleton-based Marines and sailors Friday morning to observe a Marine training center. During their time in San Diego, the Bidens also visited with Marines who will soon deploy and their families.
The visit was part of Jill Biden’s ongoing work with First Lady Michelle Obama and their Joining Forces initiative, which recognizes veterans and military families.
