Somebody's skewed idea of the thug life includes knocking over a string of dessert spots around San Diego County.
Police said a Cold Stone Creamery in Mira Mesa, the Pinkberry in Hillcrest and TF Yogurt in La Jolla were all robbed Sunday. In all three robberies, the suspect told the businesses' workers he had a gun and backup outside.
Nobody was hurt in any of holdups, which began in Mira Mesa at about 10 p.m. Twenty minutes later, the Pinkberry was hit, then, at about 11:30, the yogurt shop was robbed.
