The day-long search for illegal immigrants spotted entering the U.S. through a storm drain is over.
Earlier in the day on Saturday, Border Patrol got a call from someone driving in the U.s. from Tijuana reporting seeing eight to 12 people entering the storm drain that connects the two cities.
U.S. Immigration and Customs sent a "robot" into the drain but didn't find anyone. Around nine p.m. Saturday night, however, eight immigrants were found in the storm drain in the 5700 block of Camiones Way.
They were all dehydrated and hungry, but luckily no one was hurt. All eight people were taken into custody.
