Man Shoots Identical Twin in Fight: Cops

A fight between identical twins ended in a shooting in San Diego Wednesday officials said.

San Diego police officers were called to a townhome in the 6800-block of Fashion Hills Boulevard in the Mission Valley area, east of downtown.

Yellow crime scene tape cordoned off a front patio area and a driveway where two cars were parked.

Investigators told NBC 7 one 34-year-old man shot his twin brother in the leg during a dispute that had lasted through the night.

Officers took the alleged shooter into custody. The man will be booked with assault with deadly weapon according to investigators.

The injured twin was transported to a nearby hospital with what officials are calling non-life threatening injuries.
