A man was stabbed to death Sunday night in the Linda Vista area, according to the San Diego police.
Just before 10 p.m., officers found an unconscious man with one stab wound to his upper torso in the 2400 block of E. Jewett St.
Though paramedics tried to revive him, the man died from his injuries at the scene.
Police believe the victim got into a fight with an unknown person and was stabbed. They do not know what the altercation was about.
The victim's identity is known, police say, but they are not releasing it until his family is notified. No arrests have been made.
