Hoarder Puppies Available for Adoption

A group of puppies that was once housed by an animal hoarder are now healthy enough to be adopted, according to Helen Woodward Animal Center.

The 12 Border Collie-blend puppies were found 70 miles east of Los Angeles on the edge of the Mojave Desert in early September.

The puppies were allegedly living in a house with 60 other canines that had the behavior of nearly wild dogs. They did not have vaccinations and lived in dirty conditions.

An independent rescuer was able to receive the puppies, which were then taken to Helen Woodward.

If you would like to adopt one of these rescues, please contact Helen Woodward Animal Center Adoption Department at 858-756-4117 ext. 313, or visit their website.
