Crews were attempting to rescue a hiker in distress at a hiking trail near Ramona Friday evening.
The call came in around 5:15 p.m. at Cedar Creek Falls, according to the Cal Fire Department.
The ASTREA helicopter was assisting in the rescue.
At this time, the hiker's injuries are unknown.
