High School Without Water After Pipe Bursts

Mount Carmel High School was without water Tuesday afternoon after a 6-inch water main pipe burst, school officials said.

The campus had no running water at about 1 p.m. Tuesday, a message from the school's principal said.

Portable restrooms and wash stations were set up for students and watter bottles were handed out to students at the campus' health office.

Water was restored by 6 p.m.

Coaches were also told to provide drinking water to student athletes while the water was off.
