It's never too early to get a glimpse of Olympic gold.
Tickets for the 2012 Olympic Games in London are set to go on sale Tuesday via the website www.cosport.com.
Registration is currently open to U.S. residents. The first phase of ticket sales will be handled through an online request phase, according to a press release from the United States Olympic Committee.
The phase will last five weeks, at which point a second phase will begin for any tickets that remain after the first phase of buying.
Everyone who registers for tickets during the first phase of ticket will have an equal opportunity to purchase tickets for the Olympic Games.
The London games will feature 645 separate sporting events for 26 Olympic sports.
