Four people were injured in a head-on collision in the East County Monday night, authorities said.
The two vehicles involved crashed into each other Jamacha Rd. in Spring Valley at about 9 p.m. Monday night, according to officials with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Medics responded to the four patients involved, but the extent of their injuries were not immediately known.
Traffic control was in effect on Jamacha Blvd. after the collision.
