Police are asking for the public's help to find a 76-year-old man with Alzheimer's who drove away from his Rancho Peñasquitos home Friday.
Richard Harris left his home on Greenberg Way near Sparren Avenue in a white Ford van at noon, police said.
Harris, who also suffers heart problems, is described as a white man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 215 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. The 1996 van's California license plate number is 5R40801.
Anyone who has seen the missing man is asked to call the San Diego Police Department at (619) 531-2000.
