The Hazardous Material team from the San Diego Fire Department rushed to San Diego High School after reports of a possible chemical spill inside one of the classrooms on Tuesday.
Investigators suspect someone may have spilled the chemical on purpose.
Police say no one appears to be hurt and there is no damage to school property.
No children were in the classroom at the time of the spill.
