There's One Less Fraternity at SDSU

Fraternity was suspended last year for drug violations.

San Diego State University has expelled Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity from campus following repeated university policy violations.

The fraternity was among three suspended last year after at least one member was arrested in a major drug sting that targeted drug trafficking on campus.

The fraternity's president told "The Daily Aztec" that the University's decision was unexpected.  He also says they're filing an appeal and will apply for reinstatment in four years.
