A Carmel Mountain restaurant will be closed Tuesday as owners clean up from a damaging water leak.
The fire alarm activated sprinklers inside the Dragon Chinese and Oriental Food restaurant on Carmel Mountain Road just before 2 a.m.
Excess water caused a section of the roof to buckle and flooding that covered the eatery and extended out the front door and onto the sidewalk.
The restaurant was expected to close for business on Tuesday while staff cleaned up the damage.
