State Route 78 has been reopened in both directions after a fatal collision near Scissors Crossing, the California Highway Patrol said.
A motorcycle and a Prius collided in the westbound lanes near the Great Southern Overland Stage Route of 1849, the CHP said.
State Route 78 was shut down between San Felipe Road and Yaqui Pass Road in both directions. The road was reopened shortly after 5 p.m.
