A family was without a home after a kitchen fire ripped through part of their apartment in Clairemont Friday night.
The fire started at approximately 9:28 p.m. on the 3800 block of Camto Aguilar, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD).
Officials say the fire was knocked down soon after firefighters arrived on scene. Two adults and three children were displaced.
No other information was immediately available.
