Famed Hollywood Sign In Hills Of Escondido

You might do a double take if you head out to the San Diego ostrich farm in Escondido, which bears a striking resemblance to tinseltown.

In fact, a half-scale replica of the famed Hollywood sign has been recreated as a movie prop, according to our media partners the North County Times.

It can be seen from the 13900 block of San Pasqual Road.

Director Armondo Acosta, whose family lives in Escondido, said the sign will be used in the short film "Shooting Stars," which he described as an homage to Hollywood.
